Diabetes Education Program
The Diabetes Education Program is part of the National Cambodian American Diabetes Project, funded through the Center for Disease Control (CDC). The program primarily focuses on outreach and education to the community, to help prevent diabetes and provide information and referrals for individuals who currently have diabetes. Workshops are held about two times per week at CAA and other local agencies, and provide information on how to prevent and manage diabetes.
CAA works in collaboration with other agencies in Long Beach to provide services and information to as many individuals as possible. If you would like more information regarding services about diabetes, please contact Dany Man at 562-988-1863 x249.
